Who is responsible

TJG Inc LLC FZ runs Sign PDF. For your account details we decide how data is used. For documents you send, and the details of the people signing them, we process data on your behalf to provide the service. Contact: help@signpdf.ai.

What we collect

From account holders

• Email address, and the name and company you add in settings.
• Billing details handled by Stripe. We receive the plan, payment status and the last four digits of the card, never the full number.
• The documents you upload and the details you enter for signers.
• Sign-in records: time, IP address and browser.

From signers

• Name and email address, as entered by the sender.
• The signature and initials you draw, type or upload, and anything you fill in on the document.
• Evidence of signing: IP address and the approximate location it points to, browser and operating system, device time zone, language and screen size, and the time of each step.

Why we use it

• To run the service: store and convert documents, send signing emails and codes, produce signed copies and certificates.
• To prove a signature: the evidence above appears on the certificate of completion, which every party to the document receives.
• To place fields automatically: the text and page images of an uploaded document are sent to our AI provider for processing. They are not used to train models.
• To take payment, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We use these providers to run Sign PDF:

• Vercel, for hosting, file storage and access to AI models.
• Neon, for our database.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Open Doors, to send email.
• An AI model provider reached through Vercel's AI Gateway, for field placement.
• A document conversion service, only when you upload a Word or similar file.

Signed documents and their certificates are shared with every party to that document, as that's the point of them.

How long we keep it

Documents and certificates stay in your account until you delete them or close your account. After closing, we keep them for 90 days so you can still download them, then delete them. Backups roll off within a further 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your data, to object to some uses and to complain to a data protection authority. Email help@signpdf.ai and we'll reply within 30 days. If you signed a document someone else sent, some requests will need to go through that sender, because the signed document is their record too.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember that a signer has confirmed their email code. No advertising or tracking cookies.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.
