Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Sign PDF at signpdf.ai. They're written to be read. If something isn't clear, email help@signpdf.ai.

1. Who we are

Sign PDF is operated by TJG Inc LLC FZ (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or business with a Sign PDF account. People who only sign documents sent to them are “signers”; the disclosure they agree to is here.

2. Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts where you live. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Plans and payment

  • Light costs $5 a month and includes 2 documents sent for signature in each billing month. Full costs $10 a month with no monthly limit on documents.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live is added at checkout.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe when you subscribe and on the same date each month after that. Unused documents on Light don't carry over.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, and we don't refund part months unless the law requires it.
  • If a payment fails, we'll retry it. Sending stays switched off until the plan is paid, but you keep access to your documents.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period.

4. Fair use of “unlimited”

Full has no set monthly limit for normal business use by one sender. It doesn't cover bulk or automated sending, sending on behalf of other businesses as a service, or anything that puts unusual load on the platform. If your use looks like that we'll contact you first.

5. Your documents

You keep all rights in the documents you upload. You give us permission to store, process, convert and display them only so we can run the service for you, including sending them to the signers you choose and producing signed copies and certificates. You confirm you have the right to upload each document and to share it with the signers.

Automatic field placement uses software, including a language model, to suggest where signers should fill in and sign. Suggestions can be wrong. You are responsible for checking every field and every signer before you send.

6. What you must not do

  • Send documents to people who haven't agreed to deal with you, or use the service for spam, phishing or fraud.
  • Impersonate anyone, or ask someone to sign in another person's name.
  • Upload malware or content that is unlawful where you or the signer are.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.

We can suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.

7. Legal effect of signatures

Sign PDF records electronic signatures and the evidence around them. Whether a particular document can be signed electronically, and what it means once signed, depends on the document and the law that applies to it. We don't give legal advice and we aren't a party to any document you send.

8. Availability

We work to keep Sign PDF running all the time but can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features. If we remove something you rely on, we'll give reasonable notice.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Sign PDF and cancel at any time. We can end these terms with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break them. After an account closes we keep completed documents for 90 days so you can download them, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without taking away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
