  • Your team of five or more needs HIPAA or 21 CFR Part 11 compliance included.
  • You already use Foxit PDF Editor and want signing from the same company.

How Foxit sells eSign

Foxit, best known for its PDF editor, sells eSign on yearly per-user licences. Its pricing page lists eSign Essentials for one dedicated user, with 250 envelopes a year, 10 templates and Foxit Pay for collecting payments, and the page's own product data gives the price as $120. eSign Business is listed at $300 per user per year with unlimited envelopes and templates and a minimum of five licences.

We could not find a monthly price on Foxit's pricing page. Essentials has a 14-day free trial, and Foxit's FAQ mentions a free version for basic signing.

250 envelopes a year, or unlimited for $10 a month

Essentials works out at about $10 a month, the same as our Full plan, but you pay the year up front and get 250 envelopes, roughly 20 a month. Sign PDF Full has no cap and no yearly payment.

To get unlimited envelopes on Foxit you need Business, and the five-licence minimum means at least $1,500 a year. That is fine for a firm of five, and a lot for one person.

Field placement and the signing experience

Foxit's eSign pricing page does not mention automatic field detection. Sign PDF places the signature, initials, date and name boxes on every upload and assigns each to a signer by reading labels such as Employee, Witness or Tenant.

Signers on Sign PDF confirm a six-digit code sent to their email before signing, and the certificate records when they did. The finished file is sealed with an independent DigiCert timestamp and can be checked at signpdf.ai/verify.

What Foxit includes that we do not

Foxit's pricing page says Business includes HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance at no extra charge, plus unlimited bulk sending, custom branding, and integrations including Microsoft Teams, Dynamics and Zapier. Foxit also sells an eSign API, connectors for HR and storage platforms, and its well-known PDF editor.

We have no compliance certifications, bulk send, API or integrations, and we do not edit PDFs.
