  • You need bulk send, payment collection or SMS delivery
  • You need an API or SSO on Enterprise

What does signNow cost?

signNow's pricing page lists four plans, all with unlimited users. Starter is $8 a month billed annually, or $20 month to month. Professional is $15 or $30. Business is $30 or $50. Enterprise is $1.50 per signature invite with volume discounts.

There is a 7-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Annual Starter at $8 a month is cheaper than our $10 Full plan. On monthly billing, $20 is twice our price.

How do signNow's invite limits work?

signNow counts signature invites rather than documents. Its help centre says paid plans include 100 invites per user a year on annual billing, or 10 a month on monthly billing. Unused invites do not roll over.

Past the allowance, extra invites are billed per invite, in blocks, at a rate that depends on your plan.

Because an invite is sent to a signer, a lease with a landlord and two tenants can use more of the allowance than you expect. We count a document once when it is sent, however many people sign, and the Full plan has no count at all.

What each signNow plan adds

Going by the plan cards on signNow's pricing page:

  • Starter: unlimited templates, automatic reminders, iOS and Android apps
  • Professional: bulk send, signing links, payment collection, scheduled sending
  • Business: custom branding, sending by SMS, advanced signer authentication, conditional fields
  • Enterprise: full API access, SSO, premium integrations

Placing fields: basic detection against full placement

signNow offers basic detection of name, date and signature fields. On anything beyond that, such as initials on every page or a witness block, you place fields yourself.

We read the labels around each blank, so "Employee", "Witness" and "Landlord" each get their own boxes, and initials at the foot of every page are assigned too. You can change them in plain English: "witness signs after the employee".

Compliance and evidence

signNow lists SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, PCI DSS, GDPR and CCPA. If you handle patient records or FDA-regulated documents, that matters, and we hold none of those.

Our finished PDF carries a certificate of completion and a digital seal with an independent DigiCert timestamp. Anyone can check a copy at signpdf.ai/verify.
