DocuSign alternatives
DocuSign alternatives for people who don't need an enterprise plan
Short answer
For individuals and small businesses, Sign PDF is our pick: $10 a month for unlimited documents, no yearly contract, and the signature boxes are placed for you from the wording of the document. DocuSign Personal costs $11 a month on a $132 yearly commitment and stops at 5 envelopes a month. Teams that need an API, bulk sending or SSO should look at the larger platforms instead.

Questions people ask
Is there a cheaper alternative to DocuSign for a few contracts a month?
Yes. Sign PDF's Light plan is $5 a month for 2 documents and Full is $10 a month unlimited, both month to month. DocuSign Personal is $11 a month on a yearly commitment with 5 envelopes a month.
Can I pay for DocuSign Personal month to month?
The pricing page we checked lists Personal only as annual, billed monthly, with a $132 yearly commitment. It describes monthly options for Standard and Business Pro but did not show their monthly price.
Do DocuSign signed documents and Sign PDF signed documents have the same legal standing?
For ordinary contracts, both produce electronic signatures recognised under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, EU eIDAS, the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000 and UAE law. Some documents, such as wills and deeds needing a notary, still need ink. This is not legal advice, so ask a lawyer about high-stakes documents.
Can I move my DocuSign templates to Sign PDF?
There is no import tool. Download the original PDF or Word file, upload it to us, and the boxes are placed again from the wording. On the Full plan you can then save it as a template.
Does Sign PDF have an API like DocuSign?
No. We have no API, bulk send or integrations. If you need those, DocuSign Business Pro or a dedicated API product is the better fit.
