How Jotform charges for signatures
Jotform does not price Sign on its own. Every Jotform plan has a monthly cap on signed documents alongside its caps on form submissions, form views and storage. Starter is free with 10 signed documents a month, 5 active forms, 100 submissions and Jotform branding.
Bronze is $39 a month on monthly billing, or $408 a year ($34 a month), with 100 signed documents a month. Silver is $49 monthly or $468 a year for 250, and Gold is $129 monthly or $1,188 a year for 1,000. Unlimited signed documents need Enterprise, which is priced on request.
If you only need contracts signed
Paying $39 a month for signatures makes sense when you also use the forms. If you do not, most of Bronze goes unused.
Sign PDF Full is $10 a month for unlimited documents, so a small letting agent sending 30 tenancy agreements and inventories a month pays a quarter of Bronze's price and never hits a cap.
Fields placed for you on both
Jotform's help centre describes an Auto-Detect Fields option in the Sign builder: after upload, a banner offers to scan the document, and you keep or discard what it finds. Its own guide explains adding missed fields by hand from the Document Elements menu.
Sign PDF places boxes on every upload without being asked and assigns each to a signer from the wording around it. You can also type "tenant initials every page" or "landlord signs first" and the fields and signing order change.

Jotform is a form builder first. You can collect payments, build web forms and surveys, and turn submissions into signed documents. Jotform says it has more than 600 Sign templates with signature fields already in place.
